Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle

Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle (陶光龙窑) at 85 Lorong Tawas is the last operating dragon kiln in Singapore. The kiln dates to 1940. Tan Kim Seh took it on in 1965. The family still wood-fires here a few times a year and runs wheel and hand-building workshops most weeks. Open daily 09:00–17:00. WhatsApp only, +65 8409 5588. NHB gave the kiln the Stewards of Singapore's Intangible Cultural Heritage Award in June 2020. Potter's Garden (陶匠园), the JTC park that used to be Jurong Eco-Garden, is next door.
