Taman Jurong Market & Food Centre (达曼裕廊巴刹及熟食中心) is the neighbourhood table for the old industrial town. The first resettled hawker centre in Singapore, 永升熟食中心, opened here in 1972. The present building is the 2005 rebuild at 3 Yung Sheng Road. Wet market on the ground floor. Cooked food on the upper floors. 五十八肉脞面 queues on weekends. Tai Seng Fish Soup has held a Bib Gourmand. Walk it with 裕华园 if you came over the Chinese Garden Bridge, or with Masjid Assyakirin on Yung An Road. Stall hours are individual. Confirm a favourite stall before a dawn trip.
