I am extremely upset and frustrated with the Bak Kwa quality from Bee Cheng Hiang purchased on 15 February 2026. I deliberately bought close to Chinese New Year, expecting fresh, premium standard Bak Kwa. Instead, what I received was shockingly poor quality — the slices were extremely dry, thick, hard, and completely lacked the usual shine and softness. It honestly looked and tasted like old, stale stock. This was meant to be a festive gift for my parents and in-laws, but instead I received negative feedback from them. It was embarrassing to give such low-quality products under such a well-known brand name. Considering the premium pricing and strong reputation, this is completely unacceptable. I seriously question the quality control and product freshness standards. Very disappointed and will think twice before purchasing again.

Feeling a bit strange as I went there twice for the sliced pork, both time the prices are exact to .00. I do not want the manual round-off as I paid by credit card

Purchased item at jem outlet on Feb 9 2024 around 3pm. Went to the outlet happily because it’s cny. Got items for more as previous purchased not enough for gift. The staff wearing specs at cashier counter was super rude and bad attitude. …
