Canton is among a number of restaurants in Jurong East Central under Paradise Group, giving diners a variety of concepts to pick from. We don't come to patronise often but this is where we can get the best dim sum, followed by Paradise Dynasty at Westgate. The best prices come during weekday off-peak afternoons where you get a straight off 40% off their dim sum menu, just gotta starve until 3pm. I usually go for their iced milk tea and Yang Zhou fried rice here as their standard is there. The former is served undiluted in a thermal container with ice, similar to Victor's Kitchen if you are familiar with the Sunshine Plaza eatery. Siew Mai, Har Gow is always ordered. Their prawn cheong fun is slightly better than char siew version. There's only one item we don't order here, their congee. Which doesn't suit the palate for my parents.
