Science Centre Singapore runs Spookology from 27 October to 1 November 2026. The Jurong East halls stay a museum. They are not a haunted house. You collect an Investigator Case File and work four Fear Labs on movement, touch, sound and illusion. Day tickets for Singaporeans and permanent residents start at $6 for a child or senior.
The official story is thin on purpose. A secret experiment went wrong. Something that should have stayed in the lab is loose. Finish all four labs and a Secret Lab opens. 8world and The Asian Parent say the last beat is a three-minute attempt to stop a giant spider. Science Centre's own page calls that room classified. Either way, the product is a case file, not actors jumping out of a corridor. Costumes are encouraged. There is a best-dressed contest. The Centre flags dimmed lights, coloured lighting, haze and loud effects.
Afterdark is two nights only
Afterdark is the scarce slot. 30 and 31 October, 7pm to 11pm. The official page puts last entry at 10.15pm. The Web Special is $25 against a $40 walk-up and includes the trail, Robo Trick or Treat, the contest, one drink, complimentary parking on the booking, and the galleries after the house lights drop. Press copy names Phobia, Savage Garden, Some Call It Science, and the Mirror and Laser Mazes as the rooms that stay open. Fire Tornado and Energy Titans get after-dark editions.
INSANITY is a PG13 short shot inside this building. It screens in the Omni-Theatre both nights as a walk-in. The Observatory runs Halloween stargazing if the sky holds. VIP Afterdark is $80, or $60 for Annual Pass holders, with express lanes, a room, a merch pack the Centre prices at $85, and a second drink. Annual Pass complimentary admission does not apply from 27 October to 1 November. Pass holders still get 50 percent off the daytime Spookology Edition ticket and $10 Afterdark.
Daytime Spookology Edition is 10am to 5pm on all six days, age 6 and up on the main trail. Singaporean and PR adults pay $10. Standard tickets are $20 adult and $12 child. Buy on tickets.science.edu.sg. No cash at the kiosk. Science Café: Halloween sits on the Centre's own programmes calendar as 30 October, $20, ages 18 and up. The Asian Parent and Danamic printed 23 October. Use the Science Centre shop if you want the dinner. Do not mix the Café with the Afterdark queue.
KidsSTOP is the other building
Spookology Juniors is not in the main halls. KidsSTOP is at 21 Jurong Town Hall Road, a short walk from 15 Science Centre Road. Juniors run 30 October to 1 November for ages 8 and under. The missions are a flying spectre in a wind tube, nocturnal animals, a wizard's sensory brew, and a four-metre slide if the child actually wants the height. Three missions earn a limited sticker. Hidden pumpkins sit in the gallery during the AM and PM sessions. Mass dances are 7pm and 8pm on 30 and 31 October. Peak Singaporean and PR tickets are $5 adult and $10 child. Off-peak drops to $2 and $5.
Saturday in Jurong is still the lake. Do the case file, then walk to Yuhua Village or Taman Jurong if you want a hawker lunch, or stay on Science Centre Road and eat in the Jurong East malls. Glowing Oceans opens 3 November, two days after this ends. That is a separate wet gallery and a separate ticket. Do not buy the Super Glow bundle thinking it covers Halloween week.
Jurong East MRT (NS1/EW24) Exit D through Westgate is about eight minutes on foot. Buses 66 and 335 stop on Jurong Town Hall Road. The Centre is closed most Mondays. This run is Tuesday 27 October through Sunday 1 November, so the usual Monday shut does not cut the week. The new Zaha Hadid building next to Chinese Garden MRT is still an end-2027 job. Spookology is on Science Centre Road.
